Mincarb and Mincarb Basic
are micro-computer based thermal analysis instruments. The speed and
flexibility of a modern computer has been combined with a user friendly
instrument, with the full Mincarb being capable of plotting the real
time cooling curve and digitally displaying the calculated analysis
and required additions.

Features of Mincarb and Mincarb
Basic
- Displays CE, % C, % Si and dip temperature on 60mm displays which
can be clearly seen from up to 30m
- Mathematically detects arrest points using 1st & 2nd derivatives
giving extremely accurate results.
- Standard printer and computer outputs for instant and daily reports.
- Software calibrated 16 bit analogue to digital converters giving
accuracy and consistency of operation.
- Outputs for optional remote “traffic lights” and horn to assist
operators.
- RS 485 output for slave display or computer connection.
|
| Extra Features on Mincarb
- Displays actual cooling curve and arrest points on LCD display improving
confidence in the calculated analysis.
- Selectable formulae for 8 metal grades allowing for changes in equation,
chemistry offsets and display additions required.
- Equations adjustable for correlation with laboratory C & Si
analysis.
- Additions facility automatically calculates and displays additions
required to bring metal into spec. increasing speed and minimises
errors.
